这般安然的心底的细小满足，实在不足为外人道矣。

那是很久远的一个故事了。故事中的主人公当时正在读大学，在那个知青下乡的年代，他不可避免地被轰轰驶来的命运之车送到了东北。东北的生活是相当艰苦的，那是一般人根本料想不到的。天气是要命的冷，没有足够的衣物御寒，又没有东西吃，只能凑合着吃些树根草皮，夜晚根本不敢睡觉。一来是那里的野兽多，二来是怕自己睡着之后永远都醒不过来了。人在那种情况下是很容易绝望的，甚至退化到人类最原始的状态。很多人去偷去抢，他们看到能吃的就抢，能穿的就拿。唯独他，默默地啃他的树皮草根，吮他手中的雪团，最终他还是活了下来，回到了城里。当许多年后别人追问他当时为什么不与别人一样时，他回答说："我始终记得自己是一个读过书的人，那一大堆一大堆的书一直在我眼前晃动，它们让我最终没有越过那最后一道道德防线。它们时刻在提醒我，我是一个人，而不是野兽。"

这个故事让我久久无言，能够让一个人在最困难的境地保持尊严的，居然是他曾经读过的书!我不知道究竟是什么样的力量让他做出了这样的选择，他不是不知道啊，他的选择，也许就是在放弃生命啊!也许有些时候，书籍什么都不是，不是阳光，不是空气，不是面包，不是营养品，不是智慧，不是勇气……它只给人尊严，给人坚持的力量。它以它那悠远而绵长的力量，塑造一个个健全而完整的心灵。

我一向认为，在书海遨游过的人，至少不会泯灭所有的良知。书籍是那样一种精灵，它总会留给我们一些让我们为之感动，为之触动的东西，它在不知不觉中输给我们正义和友善，它让我们在与他人的交往中始终揣着一份真诚和信任。不是吗，冰心老人为什么到晚年还保留着那份童真童稚呢?三毛在万水千山走遍之后依然还能交出真心呢?书籍对人的影响是不可磨灭的，即使你走遍天涯海角，即使你历尽沧桑变幻，它也一直都在你的灵魂深处。

哈佛大学有句校训：人无法选择自然的故乡，但你可以选择心灵的故乡，与书籍为伴，让心灵在一次次的洗礼中得到升华。很多年之后，你会发现，你心灵的故乡是那么亲切和实在，你的人生是那么美好和纯洁.

forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he acplished great success with his strong will in the process。 the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ，the caution， courage and persistance we have as we encounter new e_perience and une_pected obstacles。 take myself as an e_ample， i changed my major when i became a postgraduate。 after the choice，days have been harsh for me。i cannot understand the new lessons at all。

for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before。 however wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to e_perience new ideas and challenge myself，i persisted。

i asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life。 gradually i could understand some parts and even found maths interesting。moreover，
